The Beginning

Hi there,

I’ve never written a blog before. And to be perfectly honest, I’m not entirely sure exactly what a blog is. The word blog usually conjures up images of a laughably fake CGI dog skittering his claws over a ThinkPad from 2008. Even after using them multiple times throughout high school, I’m still not sure what that red button in the middle of the keypad was for. Perhaps only the dog knew. Perhaps he’d press it with his strange rubbery nose and that’s how he’d start writing this thing called a blog.

It seems to me that the best answer to my question is that a blog is a journal on the internet for whatever personal or professional content one wants to expose to the world. I can’t say I’ve had much experience journaling. I used to write every day for a few weeks in summer back in high school. Most of it is an incoherent nightmare trying to read now, and not much has changed. At least this time, let’s hope I can make my nonsense entertaining. Expect to see ThinkPad thoughts, streams of consciousness, and whatnot here. Stay tuned. I’m excited to meet you all.
